Protest China's Occupation Of Tibet by phone, fax or email For immediate action Whether or not you can join us in London at our peaceful demonstrations during China's Presidential State Visit next week, you can still take part in the protests against China's occupation of Tibet. Hu Jintao's visit is scheduled for 8-10 November. You can phone or fax Hu Jintao via the Chinese Embassy in London or Chinese Consulates-General in Manchester and in Edinburgh (please see contact details below). Please inform us of your participation with a short email to campaigns@freetibet.org and note on the subject line: Letter to Hu. Dear Mr. President,
I urge you to become directly involved in the negotiations process on Tibet's future in order to resolve the 55-year conflict in Tibet. I urge you to personally meet the Dalai Lama as a first measure of confidence building on the way to a peaceful solution. Further, I urge you to drop pre-conditions to negotiations and promote the inclusion of all areas with Tibetan autonomous status in any negotiations to allow constructive and practical progress.
